Rohan at the Louvre, by Hirohiko Araki

Rohan at the Louvre, by Hirohiko Araki, 128 pages

Rohan Kishibe is an incredibly talented mangaka (manga artist), who was told by a mysterious young woman about a painting hidden away in the depths of the Louvre.  The painting is said to be the opposite of the world's prettiest painting- instead, it is the world's most evil painting, created with an ink blacker than black.  The art is great, but I may have appreciated this more if I knew that the main character is featured in other works, too.
