Dogs and Goddesses by Jennifer Crusie, Anne Stuart and Lani Diane Rich - 388 pages
(audio book)
Abby has just rolled into town to see the bakery that Granny B. has left her. Daisy is working on web coding for the college and trying to get her mother to be responsible. Shar is a history professor tired of her students and working on the book her grandmother started years ago. Then they all meet at a dog training class led by a resurrected Mesopotamian goddess.
I listened to the audio version of the book. I had previously read the book, but enjoyed the audio version more. I did find it interesting that it was more obvious that the different women's parts of the stories were obviously written by different authors. The one thing that did bother me about the audio version was the voice that the narrator used for one of the characters. It took a lot of getting used to. Otherwise, I really enjoyed it.
