Christmas at Timberwoods by Fern Michaels

Christmas at Timberwoods by Fern Michaels - 362 pages

Heather Andrews is worried when Angela comes into her mall security office and tells her that she has had a vision that something bad is going to happen to the mall before Christmas.  It worries her that she believes Angela.  So she goes and confides in other mall security workers the fear and they start to investigate.  Unfortunately, Angela doesn't think anybody believes her causing her to run away.  She meets the shy, friendless Charlie who starts to believe in Christmas again when they meet.  But what will happen to the mall?  Is it safe?  Or is something really going to happen?
This was billed on the back cover as a romance between Heather and her co-worker.  However, Heather is actually a pretty minor character in the story.  It is actually the story of Angela and her struggles to find someone to believe her.  I did not care for this book.  The ways women, mental illness, and security were portrayed were disturbing.  I kept reading the book just to see what would happen to the mall, but overall I didn't care about any of the characters.
