A Bride's Story, 1, by Kaoru Mori, 191 pages
This story takes place in 19th-century Mongolia. Amir is a young woman of 20 who has just been given as a bride to an even younger groom of 12 (which is a little icky, I know- don't worry, it's well-done). She must adapt to a new husband, a new family, and a new way of life. The premise didn't sound that exciting to me, but the artwork and pacing was pretty good. Plus, bonus points for taking a chance on a storyline.
