Book 2 of the Broken Empire series
If dark epic fantasy with a brooding hero and Tarantino like violence appeals to you, go get book one of this series "Prince of Thorns" now. This book continues the evolution of Jorg as he becomes a man and progresses further on his quest to unite the empire. There are unexpected twists that take things slightly into a scifi bent and that's not a bad thing. This is Game of Thrones without the pageantry and making nice on the surface. Jorg is out to take on all comers in a quest to conquer all in pursuit of what he feels is his by right. If that means someone has to get their castle wiped off the face of the earth, then so be it.
