This is the second book to the Meredith Gentry series and the second time for me to read this series. These books are amazing. Hamilton takes these sidhe into the modern world when so many of them have not seen a t.v. at all. It is fun to watch the older sidhe act toward these new technology and the world of modern bulidings.
Merry has been order to get pregnant by the queen so she can take over Unseelie, but not in so many words, the sidhe are never direct. She is having trouble becoming pregnant because there are several attempts on her life and she flees faerie land back to L.A. There she is met with a mysterious force that will threaten the very existence of faerie land and where they are to live.
