The Strange Case of Origami Yoda by Tom Angleberger

The Strange Case of Origami Yoda by Tom Angleberger - 160 pages

Sixth grade class oddball Dwight becomes the center of attention when his origami Yoda starts dispensing wisdom that helps his classmates with their problems.  The wisdom included dispensing pop quiz warnings and giving love advice.  Dwight's classmate Tommy can't figure out how Origami Yoda can be so wise when Dwight himself is so clueless.  So Tommy sets out to build a case file (which is the book) with his friends to find out the answers.  The love of Star Wars that permeates this book was a nice touch for me and the voices of the kids all ring true for that age group which creates an enjoyable story.
