"Monument 14" by Emmy Laybourn - 294 pages
This book is about a group of kids that end up in a big department store after a series natural disasters. The kids range in age from Kindergarten to Seniors in high school and have to learn how to deal with each other and survive. The reason I picked this book up is because my 14 year old daughter loved it and recommended that I read it. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and did not want to put it down until the end.
I really liked this one, too. Maybe these natural-disaster/end-of-the-world books are the new zombies/vampires? I just can't wait for the sequel.
