"Early Autumn" by Robert Parker - 221 pages
This is a Spencer novel. It is about two parents that are divorcing and using their 15 year old son as a weapon between them. The father 1st kidnaps the boy and the mother hires Spencer to find him. Then after Spencer returns the boy to his mother, thugs try to kidnap the boy again. Spencer needs to help the child figure out himself and what he wants to do and keep the parents from using him as a pawn to one up each other.
