Livinia Lake and Tobias March have another case to solve - the murder of the wife of Livinia's family friend. Along the way they discover connections to a stolen bracelet, mesmerism, and Livinia's past.
This was the second book in the Lake and March trilogy by Amanda Quick. I thought the first book was okay, but I did not think the second book was good at all. This is definitely not the author's best work. I will not be reading book three.
