Fire and Hemlock by Diana Wynne Jones - 420 pages
Polly is packing for college when she comes across an old book that she believes she has read before. However, when she starts to read it again the book has completely changed. It is nothing like what she remembers. This causes Polly to realize that she has two completely different set of memories from the ages of 11-15 years. The memories of a normal childhood and the memories of magical adventures with the man Thomas Lynn.
This is a retelling of the "Tam Lin" and "Thomas the Rhymer" stories with its own little twists. I love Diana Wynne Jones books and this one was no exception. It has definitely inspired me to hunt out other of her books that I have missed reading before.
