I picked up this book as I love Hilary McKay's Casson Family series. I was hoping that I would enjoy her earlier books as much. While this book was interesting, I did not find it nearly as enjoyable as the others. It is a much slighter story without a lot of the characterization she puts into the Casson series. It would make a good suggestion for kids who are wanting a non-scary ghost story though.
