Louden Tripp had a perfect life. He had money, a wonderful wife, and two great kids attending a good college. Everything was wonderful until his wife was found lying on the sidewalk, beaten to death by someone wielding a framing hammer.  They know it was a framing hammer, because it was left near the body. The police are doing what they can, but powerful interests are concerned.
So Spencer was hired by Louden Tripp to find out who killed the most wonderful woman since Mary Poppins. And so she seemed to be, until Spencer began to dig a little deeper…
