These volumes of the manga continue the story of Ichigo and his friends' attempts to rescue Rukia in the Soul Society. They continue to fight the various soul reapers, some successfully and others not so much.
These volumes of the manga added several elements to the story that were not in the anime version. I continued to enjoy reading them.
