Creel has always thought of dragons as evil creatures that steal maidens and fight knights -- until her aunt decides to sacrifice her to a dragon. That's when she finds a magical pair of slippers that will determine the fate of her, the dragons and the kingdom.
I really enjoyed this book. I've read several books where the dragon doesn't want to eat the human, but this one was done really well. This is a great fantasy story for children and teens.
