Hard to believe we're already moving into the final arc! The battle's only just beginning and things are already ramping up in a hurry. I'm excited to see how things turn out!

This is book two in the series. I really don't like time travel books, but this is a time slipping book. I didn't think I would like it, but I am hooked on this series. The series continues with the children of the character from the last book. So, it is not a continuation of the same person, but the next generation and the time periods are different. I really enjoyed this one because the time periods were 1871, 1941 and 2001 which were very important times in war history. The author does a great job using real people as well as made up characters. She also makes sure they are historically accurate.

This series is so underrated, and I'm so grateful to have an early chance to read the conclusion! This installment in the series is full of adventure, romance, intrigue, new facets of magic to discover, heartbreaking loss, and a wonderful conclusion for the characters we've grown to know and love. Highly recommended.

I enjoyed the twists and they took a while to figure out. I loved reading about a neurodivergent librarian (as I am one) and was able to feel validation of how she perceives the world, in many ways, like me. The book does go into some heavy themes, but the ending is perfect.
