The Girl in Cabin 13 by A.J. Rivers - 268 pages
FBI agent Emma Griffin is sent undercover to the small town of Feathered Nest to solve a string of disappearances. As soon as Emma settles into her cabin a knock on her door leads to a man collapsing on the front porch holding a note in his hand with Emma's name on it. Emma's own childhood has been plagued with death and disappearance. The murder of her mother, the disappearance of her father and her boyfriend are always haunting Emma as she strives to solve the mysteries of this town.
Alone in the woods in Cabin 13, Emma feels she is always being watched. Is everyone in the town who they seem? Are the people she befriends really her friends, and are her suspects really guilty? This book keeps you in constant suspense. Although I did figure out who the culprit was pretty early on in this book, I could not put the book down.
