This was an historical novel taking place in 1891. A former teacher has taken 3 children to care for them to a remote place. The grandfather of a little girl is hired by a tracker The grandfather just want to use her. Anyway, the tracker finds the school teacher with the little girl.....but learns the truth about the grandfather....so now tries to protect her. And the challenges begin. Of course, the tracker and teach fall in love....lol
