Wires and Nerve, Volume 1 by Marissa Meyer

Wires and Nerve, Volume 1 by Marissa Meyer -- 240 pages

Note: if you haven't  read the first books in the series, this review will spoil everything.

Once upon a time, there was a cyborg mechanic who found out she was the lost lunar princess. And there was an emperor who fell in love with her, but didn't know she was a cyborg or a princess, until he finally found out. And there was a charming captain and a socially awkward hacker. There was a fiery redhead who drove spaceships and fired pistols, sometimes at the hybrid wolf soldier, who was actually a good guy. There was a princess who was renown for her beauty as well as for going crazy, but she had her loyal guard to protect her.

But there was also an android. And android with a strange personality. She started off small, but finally got her own humanoid body, and she was one of the nine who saved Earth and Luna. But only a few acknowledge that it wasn't just programming. She's not a regular android. But neither is she human. She's something in the middle.
