The ensuing pages show a rabbit swimming and fishing in a tub, cooking marshmallows over a stove and falling asleep under the stars next to his bedroom window.

Not your typical color book, but a great addition no less. Little bear keeps asking mama about the wolrd aroud him and as she identifies them readers are opening to a page of color and that particular subject.

Snoring Beauty by Sudipta Quallen 24

Mouse does not know what to do as he tries to get to sleep but cannot beacase of the snoring princess! When the prince arrives there is hope that he will awaken her but it seems as though he is about to give up, Mouse resolves to kissing her himself…awakening her from the sleep to meet her prince. Mouse and Princess end up with a double wedding the next day but Mouse now has a wife with a snoring problem. This story was ok the illustrations were weird..not a favorite.

George and Johnny are working at the Gold mine and the latern gets knocked out at lunch the their head lamps save the day and the workers also spot flecks of gold…that end up being a great gold find!

When I Feel Angry by Cornelia Spelman24

I love this series that talks to kids about their different emotions and how to deal with them. This title was perfect because my little boy had a melt down  in the car over ice cream…so while we were reding this book we addressed what happened and how we could have better handled our emaotions.

Chicks and Salsa by Aaron Reynolds 32

Love love love this book! What do chickens do when they are sick of chicken feed? They make salsa and all the other aniamals eventually realize that they are missing out and join in on the fiesta! But the chickens are in for a surprise when they run out of ingriedints due to the farmer and his wife having their very own fiesta too.

With an emergencey call the fire truck in lego city is out to the rescue. They even take the time to help stranded kitties in burning building.

The Bill Cooper is known to many as a conspiracy theorist, with the former president Clinton referring to him as the most dangerous man on the radio (when he was alive) This book chronicles his time working for the government with top level clearance and he informs readers about the government and there agenda and some of the things that they don’t want the American people to know about. Bill Cooper has since passed on and the circumstances to his death are still questioned by some. This book is available in PDF format for free online to all readers. It was his wish that his book and information would always be available to all for free.

A summer counting book about the bounty that comes from a garden. At times the rhymes in the book are a bit of a stretch, the sparing text and bright pictures still make this a go to childrens book for the presented theme.

Huff and Puff meet a new train who wants to race, and while they are slow they will still try their best. This story is basically the train edition of the tortoise and the hare with huff and puff coming out on top.

The Ig family…..learning to read ugghhhhhhh!!!!! The only thing these easy readers have going for them are the bright pictures, and I do like the very last page where kids can play I Spy to try and find one of the words that was emphasized in the text.

Another Easy reader focusing on the Op family….wach page features a cut out so new readers can anticpate the next word to sound very close to the last page. Each book features three different word families with the pages getting progessivley harder by combining other words into the simple sentence,

Loved this Story!!! How do you get rid of a million wasps? With a giant jam sandwhich. The villagers bake the bread add the jam and wait! And when the wasps finally come, they slam down the other slice of bread eliminating the wasp problem.

Loved this book,  This ture story is based on Anitias cancer diagnosis and her miracle of a recovery. She tekes readers through her incrediable journey of life, death, and back again. Her story is unprecedented and moving.

This is  a story of hope and the magic of believing. Uni is very special unicorn who believes in little girls even when all the other unicorns laugh at her. Uni will be happy to find that there too is a little girl who believes in unicorns and the two are perfect for each other.

This book will always be one of my favorties, probably because I can still vision the cartoon that aired on Disney. I love the ending seeing the digger in the basement warming the building.

The care bears show readers there is always a silver lining in every cloud if you are willing to look for it.  Cute story to show readers how to always be optimistic.

I love any book about a beagle! When a little boy’s mom goes to his school to take him his lunch, little lucy tags along but when she gets loose in the hallways she decides she is having way too much fun to end this adventure early.

Loved this simple book about how a little bull looses his frineds one by one by making bad chooices. And then he gains them back one by one by making a better choice.

When two birds find and egg in their nest, they decide it must be their baby, so of course they warm it until hatches and feed it when he does. Although he looks different they declare he is still their baby! When it comes time to fly out of the nest they realize he cant fly but when he lands in the pond swimming they think he is just fine there.

A short little rhyming tale about all the different animals as they get ready for bed, with pastel colored illustrations and soft quiet voice…hopefully kids will fall right to sleep after hearing this one.

The book also features an activist group called the guilty remnants who vow never to forget what happened and will remind everyone they ever encounter. I liked this book and found myself getting into it and wanting to know what will happen next….and at the end all I will say is that I said to myself….”that was it”!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Miss Bindergarten Has a Wild Day in Kindergarten by Joseph Slate 40

Miss Bindergarten does not have a typical day at Kindergarten with everything going wild and array! But she is not the only one…the cafeteria and other school staff have wild run ins with kindergarten too.

Trouble at the Dinosaur Café by Brain Moses 32

Trex is causing trouble at the café but with all the dinosaurs working together and holding him down, they make him swear to stop eating meat and to leave them alone. Kids will love the rhyme about his stinky feet too.
